Last Chance to Compete! We're approaching the final days of the 2010 BittyBay Winter Olympics, meaning you only have a few more days to compete! That being said, we want to take a second to remind everyone of the two Olympic competitions that are open for submissions until February 28th, 2010... Olympian for a Day
 Here's something for you to think about: If you could be an Olympic Athlete, which sport would you play? We want to know! Write us a short explanation (no more than 500 words, please) about which Winter Olympic game you would participate in if you were given the chance, and why. Every person who tells us which sport and why will receive 20B just for participating! Make sure you email your piece to submissions@bittybay.com! Go Team!
Are you for the home team Canadians? Germans? French? Which country will you be rooting for this Olympic Games? Unlike its summer counterpart, the Winter Olympics are all about the cold src="http://bittybay.com/articles/img/news/th/hjo.gif" alt="f" align="left"
style="padding:5px;" />and the cool. It's rougher and icier, but filled with equal amounts of fierce competition and perseverance. But you have a challenge as well! Build a bold territory that shows off your country's team. Will it be red, white, and blue for the United States or Great Britain? Or perhaps, red and white for Canada or Austria? The most impressive territory will win a whopping 300B, a gold medal, AND a sweet Olympic Torch. Definitely worth your while, right? Send a screenshot of your room (along with your username) to submissions@bittybay.com with the subject title: "Go Team!" by February 28th, 2010. Good luck and may the best team win!
The Final Games! In addition to the close of our two competitions, we're also wrapping up the final games, meaning you're running out of chances to win medals! There are only two more games taking place, both on February 27th, so if you haven't won yourself one or more medals yet, you better jump on one or both of these games! V for Victory Jellybeans
Community Director Listen up, my fellow animals of BittyBay! Another Olympics has come and gone and of course, it wouldn't be a real Olympiad without its traditional ending. We will be hosting our 2010 Winter Olympics Closing Ceremony this Sunday, February 28th, 2010 at 9:00 PM GMT (London time). All winners from every game we have had will celebrated by receiving their medals and remember their victories. These games have never been about winning, but rather about  giving it all you got - even if all you had to do was pray or click around a lot. And just like last time, I will be hosting one gigantic game of trivia for everyone to enjoy and kick bitty behind in. Users (and staff) will be divided into various countries and verse each other in questions related to BittyBay and the Olympics. Come represent your countrymen/women/animals and make 'em proud! It will be a party that you really just can't miss (Or you're automatically not as awesome as you could be) so you better come or Tumbles will tumble all over you. Don't forget to also tune into the 2010 Olympic Closing Ceremony this Sunday too as the torch is passed on to Sochi, Russia! See you all in the Bay on Sunday!
The Snow Torch is Almost Extinct!Snickers
 Assistant Community Director Oh boy! Time's almost up to get your hands on a rarer-than-rare Snow Torch! I've already gotten my greedy paws on over 9,000 of them, have you?
